Giulia Frasca
Giulia Frasca joined the Law Office of Peter D. Hoffman, P.C. as an associate in September, 2008. Giulia received her Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University where she double-majored in Communication and Italian Studies. At Fordham, Giulia received the Guardiani Award for the highest G.P.A. in her major, Italian Studies, and was named a Michael Cioffi Scholar. She also was named to the Fordham College Dean's List and received a Certificate in Peace and Justice. Giulia's experience at Fordham inspired her to pursue a career in public interest law. She went on to obtain a J.D. from CUNY School of Law in 2007 followed by an LL.M in Environmental Law from Pace Law School in 2008 where she also obtained a certificate in Real Estate and Land Use.
Giulia has gained experience in the prosecution of environmental crimes as an extern at the Environmental Crimes Bureau of the Westchester County District Attorney's Office. She has conducted extensive research and has worked closely with clerks and attorneys in preparation for both criminal and civil litigation as an intern at Faga Savino, LLP. During her third year at CUNY Law, Giulia served as a co-mediator in a broad range of settings including Queens Civil and Small Claims Courts, and the New York State Division of Human Rights. After serving as a co-mediator, Giulia used her skills and experiences to help professors teach and supervise students in a seminar covering basic introduction into mediation skills at Main Street Legal Services, Inc. of CUNY School of Law.
Giulia was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 2007 and to the New York bar in 2008. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the New York County Lawyers Association. Her areas of practice include environmental law, civil and criminal litigation, medical malpractice, estate law, civil rights, special education, family law and real estate and land use law.
Giulia is fluent in Italian and has limited fluency in Spanish.
